Help! Baby duck with wet eye. Almost cannot open.

Hi, one of my friend's baby ducks has eye problem. See picture below.

The infection seems to be on her eye lid, not in the eye (I stil can see clear, black eye inside). But due to the heavy bubble like stuff on the lid, she can hardly open the eye.

I am temporarily taking care of the two baby ducks. According to their owner, this baby duck was hurt by a mouse trap at July 28th. It went worse today (Aug. 6th). See picture 3, which was taken 2 days ago.

Since it is so close to the eye, I cannot use salty water. What can I do to cure her?

Hi, updates --

I increased the air flow of their bedding space, and applied Chlortetracycline. Seems better. Thx~~

Just keep it as clean as possible. Might try calling your local vet and explaining the situation, they might have some drops you could put in there. Good luck!
