Help - baby turkey ingrown nail

We have a very small turkey baby that looks like its pinky toe nail is ingrown. It only has tip poking out and its swollen and purple in color around it. Anyone know how to treat it? Do I just try 2 pull it out, cut it? Like not sure. Tried searching internet and not finding anything related to treating this in poultry
