I have two mallard girls about 11 weeks, I got three baby Perkins about 2 weeks ago I had them in the same pen but separated I now have combined them my big girls will chase the baby's around and try to peck them almost should I just let them get use to each other Or so I intervene this are my baby's
400
and this are my big girls
400

They have seem to settle in now the baby's go get in the giant dog house under the light and sleep and the big girls sleep next to it

they are too small to be together. they need more size or the adults will kill your pekins

this is not necessarily true, however it is a good idea to keep a barrier between the older and younger until you can confirm that the older ducks have accepted the babies (since they are both girl ducks and not drakes, right?)

I keep looking for green to start coming in but there's none on there heads, but if there both boys they have to leave and they have been in a barrier for a while and I let them be together for two days now and they aren't chasing them that i have seen they sleep next to each other

I introduced one juvenile duck and two 4 wk old ducklings to my 11 month old girl by separating them through a fence barrier outside her coop for 1 wk. She wasn't fond of them.
If you could I would say give them some supervised time to be together- if there is a little chasing that is okay- they are establishing a pecking order, which is normal. They have been together for a month now and my adult duck still occasionally "stalks" them. Just give them time. Also if you free range that would be good for them to spend some time outside the coop. It will get better, just slowly.
