HELP. Bantam might have broken it's neck.

Keep us posted as to her progress. An eyedropper works well for the water.

I will try and keep you updated. I held the water to her and she drank a tiny bit at a time. I don't want to stress her so I'm gonna leave her be for about a half hour or so and I'll go check and see how she's doing. We have the sav-a-chick electrolyte and probiotic packets.

She keeps scratching the side that she's holding down. Does that need to concern me?? She just started doing it..

I don't know about scratching, but mine did a lot of head shaking, almost like a seizure. But that slowly improved. She maybe scratching just because she's stressed and confused about why her little neck isn't working right.

Mine does the head shaking a little and backs up when she does it. But when I see her scratch I scratch it for her and she goes to sleep.

So I just went to check her again and she drank when I held the water to her and I moved the food around and she started devouring the cooked egg!

It sounds like she will eat and drink okay with your assistance. I would take some time to place her with the other chicks with supervision every day to keep them all familiar with her. The SaveAChick electrolytes have vitamins in them as well, and that can be mixed in the water for food. 3 drops a day of PolyVisol daily is plenty. The egg has selenium too. Good luck for a speedy recovery.

Well today I walked outside and she was already out there pecking around! Still has her head turned a little but her spasm fits have lessened and she walks better. I hope she recovers soon! I have taken to calling her Cluck Norris cause she is a strong one :)
