Help! -Please be kind, I know its my fault :( and she's a pet that comes in the house - I had put an old litter box outside to dispose of and my banty hen got into it and ate some and is now coughing up blood. I've separated her, and given her fresh water and food (she's obviously not eating or drinking) - anything else I can do?? Thanks for your help!

I would take her to a vet if possible. Give her fluids, and I would even give her an epsom salt flush to help push the kitty litter through her digestive system as quickly as possible. Mollasses flushes are also good, but just do it once. If you don't have that, you can give her 1/4 tsp of castor oil orally. But push fluids as often as you can. So sorry about your hen. They will get into just about anything. I'm hoping she pulls through.
