Help? Big crop, clear gooey liquid coming out of beak?

Poop looks great! I'm so glad she's eating for you! Keep up the yeast cream!

We have different kits here, there's one that has a tube of cream that you squirt into a plunger type apparatus.

I'm not getting notifications when you posted the updates, can you tag me next time you post?
ok! sorry didn't realize I needed to tag but can now. She pooped three times total yesterday, including one cecal poop. All looked normal. Only one overnight but at least things are moving. Yeast cream again this morning with some yoghurt and soft mash and I put her back in with her flock today while I"m at work so she isn't lonely and I'll isolate her later again to administer cream. Of course she went straight to trying to eat things... so hopefully she doesn't plug it up more! Her crop is still very full and balloon like in the morning. She is stinky and gurgling but kind of smells like garlic which I put powdered her mash yesterday morning. Hope she's doing better soon with the cream.

Ok, yay for poops! Keep it up!
today when I got home from work I gave her a little massage and she drank a lot of water but then expelled a ton of liquid out, a mix of feed and water. like a LOT. poor thing. I will isolate later again today and overnight to make sure she's eating and drinking and pooping. sigh. poor thing.

Since she's pooping such good poops things are moving well, however slow, can you up the dose of the miconazole cream? Since she's throwing up, can you focus on massaging the bottom of her crop so that it empties faster. I just don't want her to aspirate....that's how I lost one of my guineas. :hitTry feeding her just soft foods, like scrambled eggs and add grit to it. Try to feed her that for 24 hours and see if there's improvement. Sending hugs to you and your girl!

thanks so much. it's been stressful seeing her uncomfortable :( I am cooking her a scrambled egg now and she's crated for the night. I think an issue today was she was eating with the other girls all day so probably pigged out. I'll make tonights dose a little bigger and keep ups with the massages. it seemed to help yesterday but it's hard to do on days that I work all day like today and tomorrow. she has some grit available and I'll add more as needed. thank you for the kind words. I do worry about her aspirating

her poops have changed a bit as of this morning. I saw this as her overnight poop, alongside a cecal. She did another cecal about half hour after I massages her and tried to get her medicine down. She’s not super hungry but just slowly picking at it. I’m worried she’s not eating the medicine in there today. Sigh. Photo of poop. I’m worried about the green..

That looks ok to me, has she eaten anything this morning?

Can you put some of the monistat cream into the side of her beak? I usually have the chicken facing out on my left thigh and then open her beak with my left hand a d put the med/food in with my right hand. If she's not eating I would force feed her when you can, just stuff some grubs or pellets into her beak.

Thank you for that tip. She ate a bit of soaked food mixed with her medicine today, though not a ton. Maybe a tablespoon. I gave her a solid 15 min massage which helped a bit but it seems like every time she eats she’s ballooned out again. It was long weekend here but if she’s not improved by Tuesday I’ll try and get her to a vet. As of Tomorow it will be a week of swollen crop and 4 days of cream

I would definitely try to dose her directly into her beak instead of her food. Try just having it on your finger, see if she'll peck at it. If not then dose into her beak

She is still so swollen in the mornings. Her crop is hanging so low 😩 I tried to get meds into her beak and it’s tricky but she is eating a little. She had a real issue when trying to drink, she takes a little by little and then liquid eventually spills out. I am feeling so discouraged. She’s still isolate and I’m massaging her every hour on my days off. Today is 7 days of swollen crop and I’ve been Giving her the miconozole since Wednesday. Is there hope for her? Any success stories to encourage me?
