Help! Black spots on chicken combs

I have recently noticed tiny black spots of the comb of my chickens and I have no idea what it could be. I do not think it’s cold enough for it to be frost bite. I also haven’t noticed any changes in the behavior or egg laying. Does anyone know what it could be and how I can fix it?

That could easily be pecking damage (dried blood).

I only have three chickens and one of them is broody and hasn't really been around the other two, except at night when they sleep in the coop. But I haven't seen them peck at each other. If the other two chickens bothered the broody chicken would the broody chicken have pecked at them?

Sometimes it is just as simple as scraping their comb on a wall or wire or brush. Anything can bring blood to the surface.
