One of my hens has been pecked and pecked until she is bleeding and bloody, I don't have any way to separate her unless I bring her into the house!! what do I do?? I don't want the other chickens to eat her!

    Tending to my chickens
You'll have to separate her from the rest of them and soon. Prepare a box or other place to put her in and I would suggest putting her in your basement or another place in your house. If you don't want her in your house, put her in something separate from the other chickens and keep her there till she heals. Make sure she has plenty of fresh food and water and always keep an eye on her. Try putting something over the bloody area so that she doesn't peck at herself. Doing this healed one of my hens who was so exposed from a hen pecking at her, that you could see a vein of hers. Hope your girl heals.[IMG]
