Please help. We are brand new at incubating and we actually have chirping! We have an egg chirping and I’m certain it has pipped because I can see tiny pieces of shell in the bottom of tray. We didn’t not remove the turner as we didn’t realize it was so close to hatch time. We have not added water either. Should we attempt to remove turner and add a bit of water now?? We heard chirping this morning but was less than yesterday. We have a magic fly incubator. Don’t want this little guy to not make it because of our lack of education! Update: It’s been 38 hrs since we heard the first peeps. We did take it out of tray and added a bit of water. We made the changes in under a minute. So now it is sealed up & haven’t bothered it since. It progressed to the first pic just a few hours after we did so. The second pic is tonight. We took all of these through the incubator. I have a little boy who will be crushed if this little chick doesn’t make it.(and myself!
