Help broken button quail legs?

This quail was fine until this morning when we looked at her and she had bad pasty butt. She was walking really weird and one foot was out of place. We realized it wasn't pasty butt but her skin was turning dark dark brown. We don't know what's wrong with her leg looks dislocated is she okay? She feels very empty and we hope she is okay. What do you think is wrong with her? HELP!! We are trying to hold her legs together we don't know of the other chicks ripped all her fathers off. We have a pullet who has been keeping the quail warm did the pullet step on her?

i agree with @Kiki its either hatch deformity or slipped tendon in the brooder and most likely will not recover.

A pullet as in a chicken pullet?? I'd remove any buttons you have from her. She's liable to squash the rest of them. That's like keeping a marble with a bunch of baseballs.

In my experience the leg cannot be fixed, and the quail will fail to thrive and waste away. It would be best to cull it, you can try to feed it and help it, but when it gets weak you need to end its suffering since you seemed like you really can’t do that, you should now start asking friends and family if they can cull it for you because that is what will probably end up needing to be done.
