HELP Broken egg, chick still inside

I have trio of hens that are setting on about 30 eggs. As of now, about 20 of them have hatched. One egg broke before the chick was ready to hatch and currently, about half of the eggshell is missing. The chick is still alive and breathing, but the inner membrane is still moist and highly vascularized. What can I do to try and save this chick? I know that there is less than a week until all eggs were due to be hatched. The chick is currently sitting under a heatlamp and am planning on moving it to my incubator soon. Any and all help will be appreciated! Thanks!

Place a folded paper towel into the bottom of a coffee mug. Place the chick in the shell in the mug, head up. Drape a damp cloth over the top of the cup. There is very little you can do beyond this.

xs 2 I would probably wrap a wet/damp paper towel around the egg to keep the membrane from drying out, or wet the cloth over the mug. and keep it in incubator or under a heating light as close to 101F as possible.

Thanks guys! The little one is still alive and has improved significantly since I first brought him in yesterday. He's now chirping and wiggling around while yesterday, he was merely breathing. He's in the incubator at around 100-102 degrees with 50-60% humidity. @AmyLynn2374 @WalnutHill

Forced air. It had an egg turner but I took that out.

If it's forced air you may want to drop the temp down around 99-100. Forced air recommendations are 99.5. Still air (or under the heating light) would be 101-102.

I had to set the incubator up last night without giving it time to run to stabilize the temp. It usually is around 99.5, but it was running a little high when I left this morning for school. What humidity would you recommend? I have it running a little higher than usual as literally half of the chick's shell is missing so the moisture can't be held in. The chick's skin looks about as moist as when the chick's first hatch which I am guessing is a good sign?
