Using Lincomycin as an irrigation thing, you can stop at any time with it. Squirting this stuff directly into the wound and you should be able to clear the infection up in one to two weeks of doing it daily. When the wound no longer weeps and is pusy, you can let it heal and stop with the irrigations. Only when you are giving antibacterials orally or by injection, do you need to continue until the infection is gone.
