Ok, took some roosters to the auction last night and before we left my sweet boy got a baby bunny.
I didn't want one, but is it ever cute! (my 10 yo son is too)
When he came back with his pick, I saw it had hair loss on the tips of its ears and tail too.
I thought I would put a little mineral oil in her ears for mites and hope that works. I am a little concerned about parasites of the internal variety though.

I have Ivermectin and undestand it to be safe for bunnies but don't know the dosage.

Can y'all help me to properly care for this bunny?

What kind of ivermectin do you have? We use the ivermectin paste 1.87% (I think) and just give our buns a pea sized amount in their mouth. I also use sevin dust on them as well. Good luck!

Congrats on your new baby! I do not know about dosages of ivermectin. But sometimes mosquitos can be a factor in hair loss on a rabbits ears.

Thanks!
I have 1% sterile injectable cattle Ivermectin. I use it for my dogs.
I also have Pyranel Palmoate paste.

I use the injectable Ivermectin to worm my rabbits. For rabbits, you just drop one or two(for a baby, just a dab) on the triangle behind thier ears and rub it in. As for hair loss, it could be the heat( ear hairloss) or it is just bored(tail hairloss) and needs something to chew on. There are so many possabilities with rabbits:)
