My pear tree has started to flower. This morning I woke up and the breeze is blowing all of the little white flowers in the run and the chickens are eating them up like their favorite treat! Are these flowers safe to eat??? I am very concerned.

Certainly hasn't hurt any of the birds around here. The chickens and quail, along with the neighbor's ducks and geese eat the heck out of pear tree blossoms, peach blossoms, and the peacock that strolls the area has an addiction to dark red crepe myrtle flowers.
