She had been acting funny for a few days. She would sit weird with her feet in front of her and fall over when she tries to eat. This morning when I let the chickens out of their coop, she would not come out. So, I checked on her and she cannot stand up. When she tries, she falls over or falls backwards. I called every vet within 50 miles and none of them work on chickens. One vet said it sounded like it could be West Nile but he is not sure. I have been researching and found Encephalomyelitis to match the best description but it says they usually get it within the first 3 weeks. She is four months old. What can it be? Can she be saved?
