Help! Casey (My Duck) has a prolapse! First time treatment for me.

What is real TV do you mean back when it was blk and white and we all had rabbit ears sitting on top of the TV's ?

Over the air / cable / satellite anything you need a guide for / have to plan your day around. We only have Internet based on-demand entertainment choices.

Just figured I'd follow up once again, Casey has been out with the flock about two weeks. I don't think she is laying (we are getting the same 4 eggs or so every day), but she seems happy and healthy. I saw her use the feeder outside, so she hasn't forgotten how to feed herself. She was picked on pretty bad by the girls, the first couple hours, then Kaine "claimed her" for the flock and pretty much everyone excepted her except Roxette who fought with her for about a week. The boys didn't actually give her much trouble, so they were never jailed. The last week I haven't seen any sign of problems. I think she is a little lower on the pecking order than before, but it's stable for now.

Great update. It's always so stressful when they go back into the flock but sounds like they have all worked it out and Kaine became a hero for once.

Thanks for the good report, Tevye's Dad, social rehab is, I think, one of the least predictable parts of helping them get back in the swing of things.

I feel I need to conclude this thread. On July 28, 2017. Casey prolapsed again. This time it was much worse than the first, and we made the very hard decision to put her down. I wanted to make sure I posted here so that others looking to deal with prolapse know the whole story here. I am so very sorry Tony and Yvonne. I feel so sad now as are you both. I loved how Casey used to run Kaine around. Bless her soul.
