2 week old baby chick got attacked by a cat. I got to it within seconds and there is a single fang puncture wound on her side, towards the leg. I followed all the advice and separated her from other chicks, cleaned and treated the wound with Neosporin.

Question: how do I give antibiotic to a baby chick and what dosage? Thank you so much for your help, I hope she makes it!

Update: it’s been over 12 hours, she is walking as normal, eating, and seems pretty chipper. I’m treating the wound twice daily. What signs should I look out for to know if she needs antibiotics?

It's should be ok as long as you cleaned it throughly and used neosporin. Do you use peroxide?

Electrolytes will help her recover from blood loss. How does she look?
