HELP!!!! Cemani rooster acting strangely

So I have an ayam cemani rooster that has been acting very odd. Ex. Cocking his head frequently, bubbling coming from mouth, sneezing, etc. He also has a very large bulge on his throat and is losing a lot of weight and whenever he starts bubbling up near his mouth it sounds sort of raspy and bubbly. My dad says it might be worms but I'm not sure and I don't want to give the medication to him if it's unneeded and hurt him accidentally or kill him. He's acting normal like eating (but still losing weight) and drinking water and hasn't been acting to strange like sleeping a lot but I need help! Sorry if this sounds stupid I am very new to owning chickens.

It sounds more like a respiratory disease. MG, coryza, ILT, and infectious bronchitis are common ones that affect chickens. Does the bulge in his throat feel like air under the skin? Are there bubbles or drainage in his eyes, swelling around an eyelid, or nasal drainage? Here is a list of those and other diseases and symptoms:

Google gape worm or lung worm in chickens. Give him a dewormer and do the whole flock at the same time. And don't delay.

This should be done regularly anyway, or add
something like Vermex to feed periodically to prevent worms.

Nope nothing else just those symptoms
