Help! Chick taking a long time to hatch?!

I have a chick that I heard chirping last night in an egg under a hen. This morning at 8:30, I checked it, and it had made a small hole. Now, over 12 hours later, he's still not out! Should I be worried? Should I help yet? The hole is just slightly bigger, and he's not chirping away like he was last night and this morning. I'm worried about him!

That's quite awhile......try helping it...if it starts bleeding stop....I'll bet it's ready to come out though...~Charm

I think I woke him up, when I checked on him the first time. He's zipping now and about half way done!
