i have a sapphire gem that’s about 3 weeks old and it looks like she tried to poop and it was just too big and got stuck. It’s protruding out of her vent, not just pasted over the vent. I believe it might be stuck to her colon. She’s started to bleed from I’m guessing her vent. I can post pictures if needed. Please help, any suggestions are appreciated

maybe soak her bottom half, it might help her loosen up, poor thing!
I’ve been trying. I’ve had her in soapy warm water for about half an hour now. She’s usually skiddish now she’s just laying here in my hand in the water half awake

she be impacted inside. Stop all solid foods and syringe down about 3 cc of mineral oil. If you have formula for babies, use that but wait 24 hours until the oil has a chance to work.
She may also need an enema with olive, mineral or vegetable oil to break up some of the solid matter.

Oooohhhh... sometimes chickens feel a poop coming up and they get ready for it... but it was just a false alarm. That pretty much happens to everyone. To me and other chickens. The bleeding part is hard to guess... so I think that ellie62706 and TheWickedChicken have good advice. Feed your hen food through liquid so more poop does't get stuck behind it.
