The younger you start reinforcing the toes the better because the bones will still be soft. How old is the little guy? I would try giving him some probiotics and electrolytes to make sure he’s hydrated. he also needs to eat. Unfortunately chicks are so fragile that if they have any sort of internal deformity theres not really much you can do. I had a chick that lived for 4 days. Each time it inhaled its lungs would make a clicking noise. It then became lethargic and died. well It’s good that you are taping the feet now. Maybe it will correct it so that he won’t have to wear them soon.It's few hours old
