Help - chicken bleeding from leg??

Where is that located on the body?
No worries about the photos, we've seen lots of things here on BYC:)
Can you flush that out really well and trim some of the feathers away from the wound?
It's hard to tell, but looks like there's dead/dried skin around the wound. How deep does that go up under the skin?

I’m not really sure. Blood pockets should read orb into the skin but when we tried to clean some of that dead/dried skin off from around it, it bled like crazy and only stopped after 5 minutes of applied pressure. We had to trim the feathers around it to get this photo. It is located up in the fluff on her thigh. That photo is the size of it, not sure how deep it Is though

Is vet care possible?
YEs we could go for vet care, but I live in England and it is quite rare to have pet chickens so vets don’t know a thing about them. In the past they say they haven’t tested things on chickens so it would be a risk. I was hoping it would just heal itself - I mean she hasn’t bled in a couple of days now so I haven’t been able to find / inspect the wound but I imagine it is still there

I would try to keep some type of antibiotic ointment on it like Neosporin.
I am going to say that it's still there, but it may be healing since you discovered it and cleaned it.

We took her inside the other day and gave her a nice wash. A lot of the old blood washed off but then some of it bled as if it wasn’t old blood. We believe she has a tumour, and are just keeping an eye on her as is still bleeding sometimes

My gut feeling is that this is a tumour and it may well be caused by Marek's disease. There has been another post recently from someone else in the UK whose bird had a similar but more crusty growth... also on the leg I believe. They took her to a vet who proved to be extremely thorough and knowledgeable and sympathetic but the conclusion was that it was kinder to put her to sleep.
I will link the thread for your information

I'm sorry I can't offer a more optimistic prognosis. If she is bleeding regularly she might benefit from some small pieces of meat and spinach to help replace the iron she is losing and prevent her from becoming anaemic.
