Help chicken feathers stained

So I have a fair tomorrow and my breed the commercial laying hens which are 3 leghorns wre recently bathed 3 times. However my birds feathers are still dirty and look browner than the other ones. It is. Really bothersome because I worked very hard on them. Is there anything o can do to clean the feathers without giving them a bathe because it isn't allowed. Please. Help. Thank you

Aww I really feel for you Laineybug! Could you use a wet rag and gently try to remove the dirt/manure?

Wonder how a spray of vinegar would work? Or maybe some peroxide with baking soda? Sorry no clue but I know for show dogs/rabbits there is a spray, just can't remember what it's called. You could check with the feed store or your 4H Leader?

You'll have to wash them again. Not sure why you say it's not allowed. Don't forget to add some pyrethrum to kill parasites.
