HELP....CHICKEN HAS HAD WATERY POO FOR A LONG TIME AND NO IMPROVEMENT

The bird named Jasmine, give 1 canker tab, once a day for four days since you already did one. Then give vitamins-electrolytes, and Probios powder in the water for 2-3 days. Keep an eye on the bird's droppings since it represents digestion, and tell us how the bird is behaving during that time. Depending on the bird named Jasmine's condition will determine whether it is time to worm or not after blackhead treatment. I would have wormed first, then done the canker treatment in that 10 day window between the 2nd worming. The second pic of your other birds' droppings seems to have undigested grains in it. Do they have access to grit? Are the birds besides Jasmine active, eating and drinking, and behaving normally?

I would suggest worming the rest of the flock when your Valbazen arrives in the mail. Then give them Corid for 5-7 days in their water. Then supplement water with vitamins/probiotics for 3 days, then worm on the 10th day. Hold off on Jasmine until you finish blackhead treatment. Like I said, keep us informed of the bird's condition during treatment.

THANK YOU MICHAEL!

I did treat all of them with Valbazen 6 days ago per Kathy's suggestion.
There are four days left for the 10 days in-between.
I will treat Jasmine that 4 days with the blackhead treatment.
Then do the 2nd (10 day later) treatment with Valbazen for all of them.
Corid is on the way from Twin Poultry. They said that was the treatment, not blackhead, but I
think that is a label issue (blackhead/canker) - they did verify it was 250 mg each pill.

Yes, some of them have the undigested grains look and that's why I was concerned that they may all be following and Jasmine's condition just showed up sooner since she's had the most trouble since the auction house and probably why she ended up there. With her it was constant diarrhea and losing weight no matter how much she ate. It had become mostly water and even as bad as yesterday's photo looks - it is an improvement and only the Valbazen has been administered.

They are all eating, drinking and acting normal. It's only me that is losing my mind over this.

I have quit for the past few days (wanted samples without any additional input),
but normally, they are all getting:
1. Probiotics every morning of that blue and white tube probotics (I give each a dab off my finger).
2. Scrambled eggs (or yogurt or cut oats) with "drench" vitamins and/or minced garlic. I put a couple of small custard dishes down so everyone gets some. The ones who get more may be why they are not showing signs yet???
3. I dusted their quarters with poultry dust and tomorrow will be the 7th day and I will dust again. I did not see or feel any mites or lice on them and I do spread D.E. and spray the natural stuff often.

I will keep you posted. Thank you!

P.S. yes they have grit and they have dirt in the bottom of their pen and they free range often.

I thought the Corid I ordered wouldn't make it here soon so I bought the 9.6% solution in liquid at the feed store.

Then when I got home the Twin Poultry Corid had arrived, should I start today or tomorrow morning? Can I still give them the probiotics or should I wait?

All the birds except Jasmine can get the Corid preventative treatment. The 9.6% liquid is 1 tsp per gallon of water for 5 days. The 20% powder sticker is correct for dosage if you choose to use that instead of the 9.6% liquid. The duration is incorrect though. Whether it is preventative or treatment dosage, I do it for 5 days at least, 7 at most, and have never had any problems result from it.

Thanks Michael - do I still do the blackhead treatment for 4 days to Jasmine and then the 10-day later treatment to all of them of Valbazen?

Are you saying that the preventative treatment for the 9.6% liquid is 1 tsp per gallon for 5 days? Or are you saying that is the treatment for Jasmine?

If 1 tsp per gallon is the preventative, what is the regular treatment? Or vice versa???

I will just use the liquid one so I don't have to open the big powder pack.

Yes. You stated the other birds besides Jasmine were given Valbazen doses 6 days ago, so they have 4 more to go until the next dose. Yes complete the black head treatment for 4 more days with Jasmine.

Are you saying that the preventative treatment for the 9.6% liquid is 1 tsp per gallon for 5 days? Or are you saying that is the treatment for Jasmine?

Lol. I know it seems confusing, but yes, if the others are showing no symptoms of Coccidiosis, give them the preventative dose which is 1 tsp (9.6% liquid), or 1/2 tsp (20% powder) whichever one you choose.

If 1 tsp per gallon is the preventative, what is the regular treatment? Or vice versa???

The 9.6% liquid dose for treatment of symptoms is 2 tsp per gallon of water, the 20% powder would be as your label states (1tsp per gallon of water).

I will just use the liquid one so I don't have to open the big powder pack.

Gotcha. Good luck and reply if you need any help.
