HELP CHICKEN WITH GAPING HOLE IN HEAD

I have a trio of hens I was introducing to my flock this week they are all about 6 months old and fully grown, an austrolorp hen from the need trio just got picked on and now she has about a penny sized hole on the top of her head behind her comb, I’m not sure if it will heal over with vetericyn, should I stich it? Leave it dry or wet inside? Cover it up? Pls help she’s a gentile and friendly bird that will be a great addition to my flock if she turns out healthy.

I would remove her from the rest of the chickens since once they see blood they won't stop pecking it. I would also make sure the wound is clean
