My 8 week old Sussex has a red eye since this morning with what looks like a scratch at the outer corner. It's been keeping it closed sometimes but otherwise behaving normal (eating, drinking, fighting with other chickens for meal worms, etc) It's other eye is completely clear. None of my other chickens are sick. No sign of respiratory distress or coryza, there's no pus from the eye either, just really red. Looks like congealed blood?? Not sure if it's a penetrating eye injury? I can't see any foreign body..just the fleshy bit on the other corner
I've flushed it with saline and tried to get rid of any dust with a moist cotton tip. It was quite clean, and no discharge, blood, or dust on the cotton tip. I'm not sure what else to do at the moment..would chloramphenicol antibiotics be of any use? I could separate it in a cardboard box but it seems really stressed and calling for its friends when it's alone and I don't want to stress it out unnecessarily :( None of the other chickens are pecking at it/excluding it.

Photos attached. I tried using Betadine but couldn't get it near the eye, so it looks a bit yellow around the feathers. Also the face got super wet while flushing. Last one is what it normally looks like..
