Help! Chickens eye is swollen

Chicken’s eye is swollen!

One of my chicken’s eyes are closed. Only one is swollen, which is the right one. How do I treat it? Im going to make a vet appointment but I want to treat it myself until we go to the vet. Please help. He also has some blue around his eyes. Help

Can you get a picture? A swollen eye can be many things. Did you bring in any new chickens?
