Help, chickens have on them small bugs

But my neighbor say that diatomaceous earth make his Asils more angry. I post this before.

Hi Kaarlo...Nice meeting you. :)

Opinions will vary on DE and its applications...I've used it, but I also am very cautious with it.

I think in your case the benefit might outweigh the repercussions if you don't find a natural way that's completely harmless to the flock...it might just be the "one-time" fix you use for now though....To each their own flock. ;-)

We know this gal....This is just one article out of 4 she's dedicated to the eradication of use of DE with chickens.

Here's her "Other methods" of treatment for pest....Again, to each their own....Educate and you run your flock as the Rooster you are.🐓

Obviously pest ID is important first before treatment, but...
For the PSP if you try that route, Here's a pretty good video for application process...

Keep us updated on what you do/ID....

Sevin powder and front line spray. Powder the birds with pantyhose filled with sevin powder and 3 sprays of frontline. 1 under each wing on the skin and 1 above or below the vent.
Will young bird be able to handle sprayings? Asils only two fortnight old.
