Most fiberglass insulation here in the US already has a paper vapor barrier.

I have watched Holmes and other Canadian improvement shows. I see they always use a separate plastic barrier, which we don't use here, only the paper backing or no paper backing insulation. There is also stiff foamboard insulation.Wow, lucky! Not in Canada![]()
