Help chicks hatching Took too long goo dried to them navels not healed

Oh, Deniece, that splash has to be a blue. Charlotte is blue bred to a black rooster, so can't be splash, but I hatched one that looked splash, too. She turned out to be beautifully laced and a medium blue when the feathers came in. Sounds like it's just so dry, like the humidity readings aren't right or well, I'm not sure. That's having to help way too many out.

That's ok, I'll take blue.

yeah, and seriously everything on the bottom of the bator is full of water. This just isn't right. At this point, I'm just trying to save as many as I can.

I thought you were talking about chicks in your bator not ones you had gotten MMH...I'm confused

Of course you would give bought chicks food and water as soon as you got them home...

I am talking about the ones in the bator. I was just saying that the ones from MMH were starving and it wasn't 3 days yet. So I was confused as to whether or not they really could go 3 days.
