Help! Cochins or Brahmas?

I did specify pullets, and all of the feather tips confirm it, along with a checklist from the hatchery confirming the breed/sex. I have gotten so many conflicting opinions, and seen so many variations of chick colors for light brahmas on the internet also today...I am very intrigued!

They ARE Light Brahmas. McMurray's are bad Quailty and are dark like that as chicks, when adults they have black or grey undercolor to all their feathers. I've bought several times from them. Won't be doing it again.

But yes. I am 100% sure those are light brahmas.

Light Brahmas can be yellow - dark in color as chicks.

My SQ chicks varied as well. I had some yellow and some dark. The darker ones actually turned out nicer.

Those aren't dark brahma chicks. They are either lights or buffs.
The chick standing up in this pic is a dark brahma. They have "racing stripes" similiar to the easter egger chicks, down their backs.
