Help! Cockerel caught in trap! *ASAP*

Pics
Hello everyone, here's your update: Truce is eating and drinking and pooping. :) Which is great - cause I was afraid he was in shock or something, but I guess he was just extremely tired. He was very talkative today. His foot is still swollen, but he is moving around a lot more than yesterday. He half hops half limps, meaning he does put the foot down.

A little while ago I carried him outside to get some fresh air and pay a visit to his lonely ladies, who are probably as lonely as him. They loved it! All of them! When I set him on the ground he used his foot again! He was trying to scratch and peck, and they had a nice 5 minute visit. I brought him back in and fed him some mash (moist chick food), and now he is resting.

How's Truce doing today? Has he made any chicken sounds saying that he's feeling better? (Eggsample: night singing, if he does that at all, crowing attempts, etc.) Is he calling for his flock any? Just wondering. :)

Like..... raw honey? Or just "honey" that you buy at the store.

Also, when can you go back outside with the flock?

Any honey from the store will do the job.

Manuka honey if you can get it is the best premium stuff for wounds, sore throats, everything, but it's very expensive.

I'd put him back out as soon as you can ensure he isn't being pecked and he can cope with coop life. Being separated will cause him stress in itself.

Please get some updated photos of the leg - Thanks!

I can't remember now...what did you end up getting to put on the wound?
Okay! I will later when I change the bandage again! Um...I think it's called Antibiotic Ointment (non-pain relief).

He is doing way better! He has a lot of energy. :D Yes, he sings/talks a lot! And yep! He tried to crow earlier! It's so cute. He ate and drank and is acting normal.
