Sadly, Truce isn't doing too well anymore. He has a weird green blister on his foot, it's still swollen, and it's curled up and he won't use it. He hops and flies. That's it. I will post pics. What should I do?

Did you splint his leg? Thinking about it, even if it wasn't a break, he could use the splint as support. Is the rest of his foot normal color? Or does it look dead? I don't know what causes the green, maybe a bruise? I've seen green spots before near bad chicken injuries before, so I'd say that's kinda normal.

I didn't. Maybe I should. I'm so worried that he's not gonna make it....

Some molasses mixed with water should brighten him up some. Then maybe splint his leg for extra support? I hope that he feels better soon.

Oh no! I just read through this thread, hoping Truce gets better! The green blister doesn't sound good. Pictures would be helpful.

I'm sure he will make it, chickens are very strong and can heal from a lot of crazy things.
