Help! Cockerel caught in trap! *ASAP*

Pics
Sorry all, I had to go outside and give my chickies water.
Thanks for the advice. What does that mean when you say "that doesn't look too good"? I'm so stressed :(
I don’t know, I guess I meant I’ve never seen that before, and that doesn’t look like a normal chicken foot, but I’m sure he will recover, remember, chickens are very good at recovering from serious injuries. (Though I’m by no means an expert)

A little story:

Starburst’s chicken Jasmine got attacked by a neighbor dog while she was free ranging.

The dog grabbed her back and swung her around like a rag doll.

Star took Jasmine to the vet and they said she should put Jasmine down.

Or she could try a very expensive medicine. (Jasmine had nerve damage and would probably never walk again)

But Star being Star, decided to try the medicine.

After a few months of keeping her in the house, giving medicine orally, and changing her leg bandage, we started taking her outside.

She learned to hop on her one good leg, and use her wings to carry her forward.

After a few months of that, she started to be able to walk more normally, but with a heavy limp.

Then we re-introduced her to the flock.

Jasmine is all good now! She walks just like a normal chicken, and is 3rd in the pecking order.

(Just wanted to give a little hope)

Jasmine now:

*sighhhhhhhhh*

I'm so tired worrying about him. In the morning when I wake up, I feel so good, then suddenly I remember.... *sigh*
I've seen some bad injuries before amungs the birds I've had over the years. Life happens. Nothing is perfect all the time, and unfortunately, as I've been telling you, bantams are very intelligent. I've never had a serious bantam injury, but Chester did lose his spurs, some of his toe nails, and even part of a couple of his toes. I don't know what happened, but something happened. It wasn't no bad injury for him though, those things just fell off for no reason. He was perfectly healthy on top of things.
Vienna had a bad injury. The neighbors dog tried eating her alive! And I told you about what happened to Sparkles. Then Eagle and Nalla and wing issues. And Fluffy's Friend- well, life wasn't always good to her, either. So, as you can see, things happen. My Mom always tells me that is part of owning a farm. Thankfully for you, you have a place to ask questions on help! :)

I did a quick search, and from other people, the green is bruising. So, no worries! Maybe ice it a little? I don't know if I've ever iced any of my chicken's wounds before, but when I sprained my ankle, I had to ice it.

I'm worried it is infection. Can I tag @ryneaeiel who is giving brilliant advice on another wound thread.

You may need to find some antibiotics. Posting some more pics will help, from different angles, above and below the foot and some close ups of the wound.
Thank you for the tag!

Use antibiotic ointment like others mentioned earlier. If you haven't already, I'd recommend lightly wrapping the leg in some gauze just to keep him from pecking at it and to keep debris out.

He looks like he may have a bit of bruising, but I wouldn't worry too much! His leg should heal just fine! The blister is likely because of improper circulation while he was in the trap. It should go away on its own within a week or so.

Since the foot is swollen and also bruised, I would confine him to a dog crate with food and water to force rest, or to a chicken sling chiar until it heals some. Clean the wound twice a day and apply Vetericyn or chlorhexidene. I think if you splint it now, while it is swollen, the tape or vet wrap might interfere with circulation.
