Help! Contingency Plan for Turkeys Arriving in April?

How much poultry netting would you recommend?

Depends how long you plan on keeping them in it. I would get as much as you can the more room the better. Turkeys need lots of space.

That’s such a great idea to do a door at each end! How did you attach your roosts to the long sides/how far away are they from the wall?

Sorry for the late reply. I cut a 2x4 in half and when straight out from the door frame. Basically the same as your design just didn't add the cross boards on top. I used a 2x4 across the bottom on the ground and attached that to the sides of the coop and then screwed into that to support the legs. I also added a couple supports running from the legs to the "ground support". I'll get some pic's.

Wanted to pop back in to say a big thank you to everyone! I just ordered 300ft of electric poultry netting - hopefully that gives the turkeys enough space to roam.

I think I will still build one of those tractors for while the poults are young and then build a more open roost once they are less vulnerable.
