Help! Coop for chicks is too hot!

Premier sells non-electric netting for chicks and I would say grab some of that because you will probably have baby birds again in the future.
I bought chicks in April and I can't remember exactly how old they were when they went out but they were pretty big I felt but they still went right through the holes of the Premier electric poultry fence and it was definitely on and I watched her wriggle through the hole.
You could also just buy some step-in posts for electric fencing and attach a more inexpensive bird netting to it...if the holes are small enough.

This was my temporary solution to give my chicks a cooler spot during the heat of the day.
At the time I only had 4 tposts so that was all the bigger I could make it. They now have a much bigger run:) This served its purpose though.

I love chicken babysitting.

Nothing better than sitting on the porch, and watching non-stop live. chicken entertainment.

However, my daytime porch relaxation is on hold While the weather is scorching.
Thank you, editor. I apologize for slipping on the rules. I promise to be more respectful in the future.
