HELP! Crop issues

Of course she can go back to her mates. In fact, you should be treating the whole flock. Safeguard treats gape worm along with other common species.
Ok she's been back with her flock since Sunday. She's walking around, drinking, but she lays down alot. I picked her up to check for bumblefoot (it was my bi weekly check for this) and she is SO SKINNY! I don't think she's been eating. I wormed her again with fenbendazole (sp) and she does have the beginnings of bumblefoot so I treated and wrapped her feet too. I saw her go to the feeder, but she just knocks out the feed onto the ground then walks away.
:( Her crop is not 100% empty, but I don't feel any feed in there either. I made a mash of her feed for her and she sat in my lap and ate some, but I don't think it was enough to matter. I am going to go out and give her this every morning. I hope she will increase her intake and get her weight up. She used to weigh 4.4 lbs, now she hardly feels like 2 lbs, but I haven't officially weighed her. I will do that in the morning. I would bring her in and do this, but she refuses to eat when in her henspital crate.

Sadly, at this point I am wondering if it may be cancer given she's a hybrid prone to that. :( She's only 2 1/2 years old. She hasn't laid an egg in a few months. She doesn't seem uncomfortable, just tired. Her comb has good color, eyes are clear, no resp symptoms, no mites/lice and still walks around with her sisters. Didn't see her poop when I was out there so I don't know about that yet. The heat isn't helping either. ugh.

The weight loss does make us suspect cancer. But there isn't anything to be done if it is. I would tempt her with boiled or scrambled egg, cooked rice, baby food or cat food. Sometimes special foods can get an appetite going again.

I tried the cat food & rice, even some cooked oats in the past for other issues she had, she wouldn't touch them.

I don't have any baby food, but will get some tomorrow. Should I get some veggies or meat or both & mix?

She will NOT eat any cooked egg. If one is dropped & breaks in the run, she ON IT, but do not cook it (that last part was her talking. lol)

She will eat a little of her feed when made into a mash, so that's an option & prob best for her nutrition balance. When it's in pellet form she just flings it around. Picky girl!

Maybe her throat is sore?? I am going to try to get a decent amount down her tomorrow if I can get her to cooperate and eat it on her own. Otherwise, the tough love food balls will be in order. If I can get her weight up and she loses it again suddenly, I think I will have my answer.

Did she make it through?

Did she make it through?
She improved for a few months and seemed to be on the mend. She was eating well, but never really got back to her healthy weight. She took a turn for the worst again back in November and despite all the usual treatments she continued to decline and finally passed right after Thanksgiving.

Sorry to hear she didn't make it, thanks for the update none the less.
