Help! Crushed eggs!!!

Sorry to hear about your egg/chick.
I think the next time you try this it would be best to separate the broody to where no one can get to her.
You can look here to get some information about different bators.
I can only tell you about the one I am using...the Little Giant still air 9200.
It works perfectly for me.
Incubator MODEL name/numbers NEEDED.

Thank you for the recommendation! I'm for sure going to be making a "maternity ward" for future hatching lol. The plan was to let nature take its courae, but nature is just so cruel and unfair at times. So far the little chick is still doing well. Fingers crossing that it makes it. And if it doesn't than I kinda hope it happens sooner than later because I would hate for it to suffer any longer if it is.

I checked on my egg this afternoon and it was crushed more just from the weight of the hen. This time there was a while in the membranes and blood coming out. The chick was still moving inside so I decided to do the most humane thing and put the poor chick out of its misery. Inside was a perfectly formed little chick. I did thee only right thing and gave it a proper burial. Sorry for the graphic pics but I took them just for informative purposes. Maybe they will be of some use to someone. The yolk was still completely intact so there's no way it would have survived the extensive cracks. On the plus side, all of my eggs are still accounted for so I'm hoping the problem has been solved by removing my buffs from the coop.
