help - Cryptic Mill date

I went to restock on feed today but couldn’t figure out when they were milled! I could only find these series of number/letters on each bag. are these some kind milldate indicator? If so, can someone teach me how to read it? haha

I would guess the top one is year 2022, day 03, and month 1.
Idk though, lol.

The second one is also year 2022 it looks like, not sure on the other numbers.

Jan. 31, 2022. Two digit year followed by day number.

The top bag... I think it means it was made on the 31st day of the year 2022.
I think.

In the bottom bag would be the 14th day of the year 2022.

The dumor is the same format. Likely both by Purina (they changed format mid December last year.

Why do they make the tag look kind of cryptic? When all your looking for is when it was made.

It makes things easier for their specific computer system. Military uses the same thing. Year than a simple three digit number for day.

I found the change annoying.

@Kiki I think was correct. The other numbers are a plant and shift code.
