HELP , dark spots in duck egg??🥺

these dark spots appeared today on my duck egg it’s day 18 and they were not there yesterday , is it bacteria? broken blood vessels ? is it rotting ? there’s still movement but i don’t like the look of it anyone know what it is and whether the duckling is dying ?

I have never seen that in any eggs that have been incubated here but I did just have 2 ducklings dead in their shell yesterday but they were probably on day 21-23. Maybe someone like @Isaac 0 or @Pyxis Or @WVduckchick who hatch alot can help.

Looks Ok to me, but I am not as an experienced hatcher as @WVduckchick or @Pyxis is, so wait for their input.

It's duckling wastes. I answered your other thread. Just the embryo feces from in the egg. It's in the pointy end. I just candled all of my day 20 duck eggs and every single one had that. Totally normal

Well, I suck at taking candling pictures. I took 40+ pics just now and all of them are horrible. I finally focused it, and the duckling moved pulling the whole thing with it.

Maybe my ducklings hide their pooping so good in the egg I’ve just never seen it
