Sorry when I read your post I had flash backs to when mine were younger and fell and my first concern was of what ever had been broken not realizing the kid was actually gushing blood themselves.
Good luck with your hatch. And I am sure you did not ignore your daughter and that she is fine also.

my daughter was fine just upset she hit the incubator . calmed her down told her i know it was an accident and i will do what i can for the eggs.
