Help! Day 16 Cracked Egg

Oh my dear chicken lord, i am destin not to have any BLRW'S!!

One of my eggs has a crack, like from top to bottom.....i just up'd the humidity out of fear!! WHAT SHOULD I DO?

candle wax? pray? oh please help!!

We had to pull our eggs out from mom on about day 15. One egg had broken in the nest and was on every single egg in the batch. When I was pre-incubator cleaning them one cracked. A huge long top to bottom crack. Almost 7 days later Luca hatched. She’s about a week now and not a single problem. I did move her egg off by itself for a few and made sure to turn very carefully. But in the end all was well; in fact she was one of the very few that hatched!

ok, backing away from the bator~ Crossing fingers and praying to the chicken gods

i have had 2 preemies and my water broke both times. i am wondering if there is a hex on me and my kids(chicks included)

I see the feathers, if it lives i will call it LUCKY~

just put wax on it and it will probably be just fine. The worst that could happen is that it doesn't make it anyway. At least if you wax it you tried, right? I don't think upping the humidity is a good thing, but I may be wrong. What day are you on? I think that the wax will keep the egg still moist. I waxed an egg,actually two, and it still hatched, can't remember if both or just one hatched. Hope all works out well.
