Help dealing with chicken that got fishing line tangled on it's feet

The withdrawel period refers to the safety of meat or eggs for human consumption after having administered medication to the animal providing said eggs or meat.

Depending on the administered medication (i.e. antibiotics, de-wormer, disinfectants or else) there might be several days or even weeks before eggs or meat of the medicated animal is safe to eat.

But hopefully this is no longer of interest, given that she seems to be better already.
Oh, yes, we are aware of that, though thanks for the reminder. We won't be able to take her eggs, or the eggs from our ducks because we're giving two of them some to keep infection away and help with their bumbles

She is doing a whole lot better now. Not to much of a limp anymore, and using it more now to. It's also lost it's fevered heat, and a lot of swelling.

She is well enough that we deemed her ready to go free again. Still gonna get her meds at night though.
