Thanks in advance for any help or guidance. I'm fairly new to ducks. I have had and raised ducks for about two years now. I have had many successful hatches and a few not so good. I have a little fluff ball that had some serious trouble hatching -it was not in the correct hatching position- ended up assisting the little fellow and turns out it has a serious leg deformity. Looking for any help or advice on this little peg leg. I have added brewers yeast to feed to help supplement niacin. I highly highly doubt any niacin is capable of making any difference to this baby. Leg appears to be fused at the joint. Thought about culling but the baby is so active and lively. Eats and drinks like a champ. Is there anything I can do to help or what are my options. Thought it might be a slipped tendon but that does not seem to be the case as you can not pull the leg out. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!! Tried taking a video and it would not load. This baby is very lively....otherwise I would highly consider culling. But it's so resilient.
