Cal hen about 11 months old. 11 hens in flock, no roosters. This is one of the top of the pecking order girls. Flock treated for mites around 3 weeks ago. They were all dusted x2 weeks and coop was treated. Mites are gone, have been gone since the first dusting. She was not one that had mites on her, but was treated anyway.
I'm feeding a game bird feed for the higher protein right now. They get sav a chick probiotics and electrolytes in there water with plain water available also. I've given Nutridrench directly in mouth to each bird every few days for 10 days to help boost them after the mites.
I've found 4 soft shelled eggs this week, not sure if it's from her. She is sitting in run puffed up. Walks normally at times, if I approach, she runs normally. I've seen her drink, but her crop is not full like the other girls. I brought them their feed soaked in water with nutridrench and oregano added, they all go crazy for this. She didn't even go near it. She is staying to herself, occasionally pecking the ground. All poop looks normal.
On exam: no bugs or eggs found on her. No swelling in abdomen. Crop only partially full, vent looks normal. Breathing normally. Just puffed up and not really eating.
