HELP!!!! DOES THIS ZIPPING EGG NEED HELP????

this is where I am at now. I first chipped away all the shell till it met the other end, then saw the membrane was completely white I wet it and started putting away and then I saw a red stringish vein so i stopped right there. he's not trying to get the rest of the way out but he is breathing and chirping quietly. Oh and he's not bleeding from anywhere.

what should I do???

Looks like yolk. I'd paint in in a very gentle disinfectant solution (maybe very diluted iodine?) and let him dry out. If he starts to move, wrap him in a soft, clean rag. Hopefully, he'll just finish absorbing it.

Good luck.

Looks like embryonic waste to me, not yolk, but it does seem like he just barely finished absorbing. Your humidity looks like it was a tad too high too. Congratulations!
