Help! Dog Attack.

I ended up putting them in the coop in a dog cage; It makes it a little tight in there, but since they are only in there for sleeping, it doesn't matter. Today I took the injured ones out in the separate yard, and left the others in their yard. That way they saw each other, but were separate with plenty of space. I was hoping to combine them in the next few days, but it seems one of them is limping worse today, so it might be longer. Oh well. It is what it is. I'm just glad they are healing well.
I put one of the injured ones in with the babies for a little bit. It was pretty funny!! One of the six week olds came over and attack my hens head.

sounds like at least you have a solution until you can put them all together again. Sorry about the one limping again, hope it's just a mild setback. Keep up the good work though you've brought them far.

The one girl is out free ranging with the rest today!

They are picking on her a little but I think that is to be expected. She seems very happy to be free again.

The other one....who isn't out ranging....still is limping quite a bit, and it seems like she is limping more in the last couple of days than she was before. ?? I don't know what is up with that. She was walking almost normal, and then this.

Look for swelling all along the leg. was there any bites on the leg? and feel both legs and see if you can tell any difference in how they feel infection will be red and hot to touch. hopefully it's nothing like that maybe just needs more time to recoup.

Yes. I will check her next time I go outside. I hope there is nothing major wrong with her.

I would be a little sad to give her up now, especially after all she has been thru. Less than two months ago she was the one attacked by my rooster, and now the dog incident.

She's a fighter, but I'm not sure how much more she can stand.
