If she is still yawning just wait!!What about the yawning though.
Ok. It's not very frequently so I think she's close. I'll leave her for a few more hours and check again. All the vessels around her head are gone. I think if she's not stuck she should be able to work herself out from here. Thank you Cali.If she is still yawning just wait!!
No problem! Again thank you for letting me help!Ok. It's not very frequently so I think she's close. I'll leave her for a few more hours and check again. All the vessels around her head are gone. I think if she's not stuck she should be able to work herself out from here. Thank you Cali.![]()

Ok. I've done most of that so far. Got the shell chipped away until I saw it attached to the membrane. No blood any more. It stopped quick. She's back in bator and I feel it's open enough for her to make her move. My only worry is she's stuck to the bottom where the big crack is at. I put oil on that just now. I can see her move through it so maybe she's not stuck. I'll give her more time. Thank you!!!!Cuccoo Shack, if there was a little bleeding, but you got it stopped, wait several hours before trying to proceed. In maybe 6 - 8 hours, go into your bathroom, and run the shower full hot, so it steams up the bathroom. Close the door behind you, and keep the hot shower running, then go grab a couple paper towels, dampen them in very warm water, then get the egg. Wrap the egg in the warm, damp paper towels, and take it to the steamy bathroom. Gently, chip more of the egg shell down. You should be able to removed the shell without damaging the membrane. Go about half way down, all around the shell. IF there is any bleeding, STOP, and return the egg to the incubator. Wait several more hours, then proceed to remove the shell, about half way down.
IF there is no bleeding, and the membrane is fairly dry, a little oil applied with a q-tip will help keep it pliable. Once you have it worked about half way down, return the egg to the incubator. As often as not, they can work their way out, when ready. IF there is no progress after 12 hours, proceed as before, and remove a bit more shell. You may need to apply moist paper towels, and let them sit on the membrane, and use damp q-tips to get the membrane, and goo moistened enough for it to be easily removed. GO SLOW.
You and me both, pins and needles lol! I'm about to have a heart attack, but I'm keeping the faith. I just have to keep my hands to myself.I am loving it!

If you see her moving from the bottom of the shell she is probably not stuck!Ok. I've done most of that so far. Got the shell chipped away until I saw it attached to the membrane. No blood any more.
