Help! Dropped egg during internal pip

OK. I just checked it again and it's still moving but no sound. The shadow is pretty dark where the beak is but not that big.

Thank you! That's our drake, Finn. He's been getting in the flower beds now for days. He just sits there like he's nesting lol.

There's so many things that can go wrong, it seems. I've helped chicks in the past, but these are my first ducks. I'm worried about the membrane being too thick, the humidity, the temp...as all my thermometers read differently, and now this. I'm glad to have the Bator on the floor since it wasn't a far drop, for the egg, but my knees and back are paying the price! The paper towels made the humidity spike so I had to take some water out, and the the temp dropped. Things are back to normal, but good grief!

Last week one of my hens hatched a duck egg, but she squished it over night, so I'm on high alert with these babies. We need more females for Finn cuz he likes our lady hens way too much.

Finn too. We got him from another farm, and they had put him in with the chickens since their other xray was beating him up....now he's confused lol
