My serama roo is one tough little bugger and will kick the butts of the big roosters every chance he gets. For his own safety, we are giving him and his little girls their own house. It was just delivered today! We bought a Victorian playhouse and are converting it to two separate bantam coops that will be 4 X 6 each Plenty of room for Lance, his buddies and his ladies

Oh wow! Pretty babies! The only fancy chickens I have are the Showgirls and a buff Silkie. The Shows are a gray splash, have the 6 toes, yadda yadda. I got them because I thought they were cool looking birds. Most of the others are dual purpose birds.

Thought I'd share this pic. I went out to the garden and found a monster watermelon!! Just to show the size, my son got his favorite bantam pullet, Whitie and she posed for comparison. She is a d'uccle X OEGB mix. Another of the Christmas hatch. She is also in with Lance.
